But we regret to tell you this late that we have not been completely honest with you about. Now is the time you should know.....we are the Legendary Swordsmen of Death. There was a time where that name would strike fear in the hearts in all who opposed us, but alas we have reached our limits. Tonight is the night, there is no escaping what will descend upon us. Tonight..... we shall die! Since this death is unavoidable, we shall be killed on our terms, we shall die a warriors death. This will be your final test Hikaru. You must witness our deaths. Swordsmen of Genjutsu-Mezuu, Swordsmen of Ninjutsu-mizu, Swordsmen of Taijutsu- Mazou, and master swordsmen-Maizou. You are all criminal, and I must rid the world of your kind! And for your little friend, remember this name. I am head captain of the ANBU division of the Hidden Sound Village. I am Haiyashima Riku.
Captain riku raised his right arm with a clentched fist, and about fourty ANBU came to his side. Captain Riku raised his Index, and Middle fingers, and pointed toward the four swordsmen. Three groups of two ANBU ninja each bagan their attack. Group one attacked mizu, the first ninja made a hand sign, and from around him poured a thick fog. The fog surrounded all four Swordsmen, the second ninja of group one leaped in the air, and pulled out a sword aiming for the head of Swordsmen Mizu. Mizu took a step back, and the attackers sword landed into the ground. Mizu forced his sword out with his thumb, hitting the ninja in the face. With one motion, using his left hand, Mizu completely unsheathing his sword, sliced the ninja's throat, and re-sheathed his sword. The first ninja continued his delayed attack, running at Mizu full speed. The ninja thrusted his sword at Mizu, and in the same instance performed a one handed jutsu, "Doubling Sword Blade Technique". As the sword came within inches of Mizu's face, Mizu slightly side stepped, but as he did, Mizu noticed there were two blades coming at him; Mizu quickly performed a crouching rotating sweep kick, forcing the ninja to fall, and hit his head on a partially protruding sharp edged rock. As the ninja fell to the floor, another ninja attacked from the air, "same trick agai-", as the ninja was close to striking Mizu, Mizu caught a glimpse of another ninja following also. Mizu leaped in the air at the first ninja, grabbing the blade of his sword with his left hand, then grabbing the face of the first ninja with extreme force, and throwing him to the floor on top of the ninja who lay unconscious from hitting his head on a rock. Mizu still in the air unsheathed his sword, and performed in rapid succession nine perfect slashes at the second following ninja. Mizu, and the now cut up pieces of what used to be an ANBU ninja landed on the floor at the same time. The pieces of body fell on top of the other two ninja, and Mizu performed a few hand signs, "Ground Blade Protrusion!" a hundred blades sprang from the ground slicing, and dicing the two remaining ninjas into grounded meat. The ANBU captain looked in slight dismay, and signaled for the attacking groups to retreat back to his location.
Mezuu: No not that easily! If we shall die here, then so shall everyone attempting to take our lives!
Mezuu within a blink of an eye took out his sword, and slashed away at the air exactly fifteen times. Suddenly the fleeing ninja were no longer fleeing. All the ninja Mezuu slashed at started walking toward the legendary swordsmen, then once there they turned facing the rest of the ANBU squads. They then proceeded to take out their weapons, and as they did Mezuu sheathed his sword while saying,
Mezuu: Genjutsu: wind blade mind control!
ANBU Captain: Do you really believe that'll make any type of difference? You are foolish if you believe that to be true!
Captain Riku signaled sixty more ANBU, who then rushed to attack the swordsmen all at once. Mezuu sent the controlled ANBU at the group of attacking ninja; all twenty five of them fell in combat, but not before taking one attacking ANBU ninja with them. Thirty five ninja remained, and continued their assault on the swordsmen. "I'll handle this," Maizou rushes full speed through the thirty five remaining ninja. As Hikaru looked on she could not see him swinging or slashing; it looked as if he never unsheathed his sword at all. Then she knew, it was the technique she was forbidden from doing for five years. As Maizou came to a stop his right hand rested on the handle of his sheathed sword. "Sword technique: One Second Slashes!" Maizou said as he then started walking toward the captain. The other three members flashed next to him, and walked with him in unison. Captain Riku waited with a smirked, and when the four swordsmen were in perfect position, eight ANBU sprang from under the ground catching all four swordsmen off guard, and piercing them all with blades in various locations. Mizu stabbed slightly above his right hip, Mezuu pierced in his lower back below his left kidney, Mazou stabbed in the chest with the blade piercing his right lung, and Maizou with a blade entering his stomach, and protruding from the middle of his back, but just missing his spine. Horror spread across Hikaru's face as she looked on, but was forced to do nothing to do nothing. Mazou with intensity in his eyes, made a hand sign, and uttered the words in an ominous voice, "swords of thought!" several swords materialized in the air, and each ANBU present was pierced by a sword, and killed instantly. Blood poured from each of their bodies, and they knew this was their final stand. They prepared as they continued on their paths; the swords of the now deceased ninjas still in their place within the swordsmens bodies. Each swordsmen then took out more swords, placing one in each hand, and one in their mouth. Their pace picked up from a slow walk to a slight run, to a full sprint. More ANBU came to attack, but were quickly cut down. Captain Riku made another signal, and one hundred and fifty ANBU appeared, and rushed back at the swordsmen. For twenty minutes the fighting swordsmen fought gallantly, and for twenty minutes the swordsmen killed all the ANBU one by one. When all the ANBU died, the four swordsmen turned their gaze upon Captain Riku, and as they ran toward him, they let forth a glorious battle cry for all to hear. Then the captain smiled, and signaled for one hundred more ANBU to come forth, and as they did they performed the Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu, and all four swordsmen died in a huge blaze, but they died as they intended to; As warriors to the very end.
After Captain Riku, checked to confirm their deaths, he heard something far off from the battlefield. When he looked he saw a small girl laughing hysterically, with tears pouring from her eyes. Captain Riku turned away, and signaled his men to leave, his work was done.(end)
